PorterHouse has three new beef products on the menu that support our desire to provide the most natural and best-tasting beef, combined with environmentally sound practices and humane animal treatment.
The Porterhouse and the New York Strip are now 100% natural angus and “Certified Humane” by Humane Farm Animal Care, an independent, non-profit organization whose standards require cattle be raised with shelter, sufficient space and the ability to engage in natural behaviors.
The highest industry standard of 100% natural means that the cattle are never given hormones or antibiotics, receive an all vegetarian, corn-fed diet and are 100% USA source verified. The cattle can be source verified to their ranch of origin and are born, raised, fed and processed solely in the USA ensuring excellent quality.
In addition, the Rib Eye we now serve is Certified Hereford Beef reflecting our deep devotion to natural flavor. When it comes to taste and tenderness, Hereford is naturally better beef. Made from the old-fashioned method of natural breeding, feeding and aging. It’s a not-so-secret formula that Hereford ranchers have been perfecting since 1881.
